Check it out, finally turned from green to pink and hopefully to that bright shocking pink!
I only had two flowers, it was the first time my pitaya has flowered and so lucky to have two fruits. You can see the green little dragon fruit by the wall in the first picture.
My dragon fruit cactus flowered a couple of weeks ago and now I have what looks like a fruit….
Before opening September 25th.
The same night it opened. We attempted to play night time bumblebee and poked around at th pollen/stamen parts with a stick.
Morning after still looks beautiful September 26th.
October 8th. Flower is all dried and shrivelled.
I am hoping it will turn into this
I only got one flower but here’s another one 🙂 fingers crossed 🙂
New flower October 8th.
My little goji berry twig from eBay had started flowering. Can’t wait for some little berries.
It’s quite twiggy looking so I transferred it to a bigger hanging pot. Looks better already. Probably shouldn’t repot whilst it’s flowering but it looks kinda hardy. Let’s hope I’m right!
Here’s my little olive tree. Lots of leaves.
And my crazy fast growing Dragon Fruit cactus.
It’s about 5 ft tall and out of control! All efforts to tame it has left me with prickles so now it’s against the wall so the wall can support it.
Here’s the two little figs from eBay from the same seller as where I bought the goji berry from.
Still a lot of growing til I get real figs.
Here’s my messy area. I also brutally cut some big fat branches off the blueberries as I vaguely remember reading that any over an inch in diameter had to be cut. I hope i didn’t make that up! Anyway, lots of grooming to hopefully make healthier plants.
And lastly, the ugly fairy tale eggplant. Why are the colours so bland?!
This started off as two chunks of cactus given to me and now look at it! I had to replant in a heavy pot as it was getting so long, it fell and broke. Hopefully it will be happier in this nice pot given to me from a neighbour 🙂
